On-Farm Overseas Applicants Back

Working in New Zealand through ATRFegan

Agriculture has always been at the forefront of the New Zealand economy and its continued growth has created exciting opportunities for people wanting to progress their career in this industry.

In order to work in New Zealand overseas applicants must obtain a Work Visa.  There are a number of different  policies which allow you to work in New Zealand, each with its own requirements that must be met. To learn more about these or how to apply go to the New Zealand Immigration Service website at: http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/work/

If you wish to apply for a position advertised through ATRFegan you need to either phone or email the Recruitment Officer specified in the ad, leaving a contact phone number and best time to call. While speaking with you the Recruitment Officer will collect some basic infomation on your employment history, qualifications, referees and what you are looking for in your next position. When assessing if you are the right person for the position, in addition to looking at your relevant experience and/or qualifications we will also assess whether you have a good command of the English language and whether you are likely to meet the requirements of the New Zealand Immigration Service for working in New Zealand.

If you are offered a position with an employer through our service we will send you the necessary documentation to aid your application for a Work Visa, including an Individual Employment Agreement (Contract). We remain in contact until  the Work Visa is granted and give advice throughout the application process where neccessary and appropriate.
